I wore this outfit to have dinner with Kate & Daniel, then take them to pick up their new cat, Zelda. I really liked this lace top, but I'm not a fan of nude lining under lace. It was a delightful shade of green *sigh*. Perhaps I would have liked it more if I had a lace skirt with a nude lining like Kate did when she wore this top. I also tried this on with a beige lace skirt, but felt it was too light of a shade, but I may try it that way come summer. Kate & Zelda...aren't they both adorable?!
I have a kitty much like Kate's...her name is Zooey. She is a snuggle buddy but definitely stubborn.
ReplyDeleteI also tried the top you're wearing, couldn't figure out what the hell to do with it, and sent it back. The nude shade didn't really match my pasty-white self, so it detracted from the otherwise flattering green. I love your accessories, and I think the lacy skirt works well.
Kate has only mentioned how much she likes kitty scritches so far.
DeleteDid you check out how Kate wore this top? I liked to it in this post. She had a black lace skirt with a nude lining. It was perfect. I loved this green soooo much. Too bad about the nude lining though. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.
linked, not liked.
Deletei did check out the link of Kate in the same top and she looked FABULOUS! wow! i wish i had a figure like her... sadly not. anyhow, i think the black lace skirt with nude lining works great with the green top with nude lining. maybe thats the way to go with this top. blessings! kym still
ReplyDeleteI wish I had Kate's figure too!
