Almost All Blue

Dress: Geo Print Blue Dress by Donna Morgan (size 24) via Gwynnie Bee
Cardigan: Liz & Me (size 3x), thrifted
Leggings: LuLaRoe (size TC2) via eBay
Shoes: Boden, thrifted
Earrings: etXarte
Necklaces & Bracelet: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo, Kate, & Me
Stats: 5'7" 50-47-68
I rather liked this dress...but I've gotta say...I'm getting tired of all the blue GB has on offer...& they've got me liking blue. The geometric pattern & various shades of blue were bold, the length was great, & the fit was spot on. GB is calling this a fit & flare dress, but it's more fitted than that...& look here, I actually used the matching belt that came with it! There was a pocket over each breast...why?!! Pockets over breasts should not be a thing.
Another conservative dress that I think I made cute...but completely work appropriate. That cardigan really changes the look...I like the added orange, but the pattern on the dress is so striking...that it's good without too...but...the pockets!
I haven't worn these shoes in ages...they make me really miss the thrill of the hunt of thrifting.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Sabbath, Nars eyeshadow duo in Mediteranee, Orange County lipliner by NYX, Habanero lipstick from MAC, & OPI nail polish in Atomic Orange.
DJs on Twitch getting me through a Friday night with some dark music.
It's a girlie outdoor visit!!! And look...we're all blue & matchy. It was so lovely & normal to lounge around outside on a beautiful day with a beautiful Kate.
Saturday night new wave tunes via Late Bar's Planet Earth. UnderCovered covers Riot Grrrl bands. Glenn Crytzer & his quartet playing songs from 1937. And more spooky music.
I just adore turning around & seeing these 2 cuties.

Zig Zag

Dress: Ruffle Detail Fit & Flare Midi Dress in Fall Print by Eloquii (size 26) via Gwynnie Bee
Shoes: Worthingon, thrifted
Earring & Necklace: Vintage Heidi Daus via eBay
Bracelets: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 50-47-68
Gwynnie Bee has been adding a lot of Eloquii lately & I'm always sucked in by the colors & patterns...but why do they all have neck ties?! I hate them. I prefer to wear necklaces & it always ends up looking sloppy no matter how jaunty I try to tie the strings. Great fit & gorgeous colors on this midi dress...but my favorite part was the slimmer fit ruffled sleeve ends.
I've had these purple shoes for several years & never wore them...all of a sudden, I find myself thinking they are the perfect shoe for an outfit. Weird.
This is my first time wearing these bracelets that I bought on Etsy in 2018.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Psychedelic Sister; Azalea, Agate, & Day Spring eyeshadow by Natasha Denona; Sugarpill Cosmetics lip color in Locket; & Copper Pot nail polish from Sinful Colors.
One of my Fluvicorns...Half Truth Tanyas in purple (I also covet them in green)...found on the Flummunity on FB...brand new *swoon*. Michael Waite & friends.DJ Baby Berlin spinning 90s alternative happy hour.
Music to surf the internet to. My first visit to see my primary doctor in over a year. And Tracey dressed up on St. Patrick's Day painting a green china cabinet.
Listening to DJ/VJ Ant on Twitch. Making the first Roman shade...eeeeek. And Them Coulee Boys playing online live in memory of their friend Max Graham.

Put An Avocado On It

Dress: Tile Print Twofer Dress by eShakti (size 24) via Gwynnie Bee
Cardigan: Merona (size XXL), thrifted
Leggings: LuLaRoe via eBay
Shoes: Yoki via eBay
Earring: etXarte
Necklace: Heidi Daus via eBay
Bracelet: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 50-47-68
I'm not a twofer dress fan, however, I really liked the colors & pattern in the skirt..so why not give it a try? In person...all I could see was a repeating vulva pattern...so I threw avocados into the mix...does it help? The fit was great, with nice pockets...the top portion of the dress was a t-shirt material that attracted ALL the lint.
These avocado leggings just make me SO happy...what is it about fruits & veggies on my clothing that is so exciting to me?!
As much as I've expanded my color palette...I'm always happiest in autumnal colors. I just looked back to find out how long it has been since I dyed my hair...last October, which is also when it was last cut. How is it possible my hair grows soooo slowly?
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Mildew, Mon Ennui Cosmetics eyeshadow in Rustette & Lumiere, Rubeneque Paint Pot from MAC, Coral Plated Retro Matte lipstick by MAC, & China Glaze nail polish in Agro.
Test driving a Dodge Challenger...which is our next car. We had planned on getting one last year, then 2020 happened & we weren't leaving the house. David & I drove past a Dodge dealership on a Sunday & they had NO Challengers in their lot...but this used car place had several...so we jumped in & sped off...David is a safe, but adventurous driver & he always makes me squeal with laughter. Being a girlie girl...the only thing I care about with the car is that it be Plum Crazy (close to their original 70s purple)...& they haven't made those since 2019. We looked into getting a new car painted that color & it would be a minimum of $14,000! So, we are looking all over the country for a used Challenger in my preferred color...they get snapped up quickly.
Fluevog was having a sale...20% off sale shoes...& I could not resist...but I only got this one pair. I decided to go with opulence over practicality...big surprise...but aren't they amazing?! Laith Al-Saadi playing on The Ark's FB. DJs playing New Wave & Goth-y songs on a Friday night.
These are all the possible necklace contenders I picked to go with this outfit...David helps me decide which one. March's Boxy Charm. And DJ Baby Berlin playing 80s New Wave.
Late Bar Chicago's Planet Earth with more 80s New Wave. And Social Distance Live, UnderCovered: Elliott Smith. The Lowest Pair...as much as I miss actual in person live music...when am I ever going to be this spoiled for entertainment again?!
Davina & her husband, Zack...playing live on FB to get in some practice. She debuted her version of Love Cats (The Cure) during their Valentine show & she played it again here & improved it. I liked it before, but now I love it. I drove to Appleton last Monday for my second PRP shot...one more to go. My knee is a bit better, but it's too soon to tell.

Lemons on Lemons

Dress: Limoncello Printed Perfect Wrap Dress by Leota (size 4L) via Gwynnie Bee Try Then Buy
Cardigan: Talbots (size 3x), thrifted
Tights: Snag
Shoes: Nine West via Ebay
Earring & Bracelet: Wendy Baker
Necklace: bel monili
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 50-47-68
I bought this lemon dress back in 2018 when it was released on GB & it got sent to me right away. I'm terrible at wearing things in a timely fashion...but look at that gorgeous print with the lovely peach background...it's awesome & I just adore a fruit or veggie print. Like all Leota dresses, it's a fabulous fit & length...but of course, I had to pin the neckline closed.
This wall on the side of Pig in A Fur Coat (restaurant) immediately jumped out to me as the perfect backdrop for this outfit...but I was nearly certain it would be piled high with snow...but all our 50s/60s temps had melted it away.
These dresses always come with matching belts that I never wear...but the weather was nice enough that I remembered to take off my cardigan. Also, I want you to know that I also have lemon leggings that I refrained from wearing...such restraint.
I'm a bit in love with this lighter makeup I've been wearing lately...who am I even? I know...it's still not exactly neutral or light for most people...but it is for me.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Loaded, Frosting & Candles eyeshadow by Lime Crime, NYX lipliner in Nectar, Habanero lipstick by MAC, Trinket lipstick by Sugarpill Cosmetics, & OPI nail polish in Green On The Runway.
These were the other tights & shoes I was considering wearing with this outfit...I was leaning toward the bright shiny yellow shoes...but David picked the more subdued yellow...which went well with the cardigan...but not as much on their own with just the dress. Carsie & the boys going live to promote the Kickstarter for their upcoming album.
Michael White playing from the U.P. & DJs providing the soundtrack to my night.
Exactly 1 year (-1 day) since I've been to my work office...here I am. I cried because I miss this so much. All of it. I have one client I'm going back to doing in person therapy with...the rest are via video still for now.
Them Coulee Boys playing some songs from their upcoming album. Our living room roman shades...David & I have finished cutting them out, now I'm working on making them...actually, I'm trying to iron the edges so the pattern is in the center & the sides are straight...& it's hard. DJ Baby Berlin & Synthetic Thursdays.

Get Her!

Dress: Navy Floral Dress by London Times (size 22) via Gwynnie Bee
Cardigan: North Crest (size 1x), thrifted
Leggings: LuLaRoe via eBay
Socks: Sock Dreams
Shoes: Fluevog, Effortless: Felicity
Earring: etXarte
Necklace & Bracelet: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo, Kate, & Me
Stats: 5'7" 50-47-68
I think I kicked this conservative dress up a notch with a bunch of pattern mixing...especially punching up the bits of chartreuse in the dress with the cardigan. Great fit on the dress...it came with a matching belt, but I opted not to wear it...as usual. In looking at these photos, I should have gone with tights or socks as the midi length is a bit long for leggings...ooops.
The buckle on these Fluevogs is navy...close up below.
This is my first time wearing this bracelet (I have matching clip-on earrings too).
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in LSD, Sugarpill Cosmetics eyeshadow in Acidberry, Lumiere eyeshadow by Mon Ennui Cosmetics, UD lipliner in 714, Russian Red lipstick by MAC, & OPI nail polish in Who The Shrek Are You?
Get Her! The mural said Better Together...but I like this partial David captured. He picked this mural despite my objecting to the pink...his reasoning was that the pink matched my skin...ha! Which reminded me of decades ago...a friend's son was talking about someone & mom asked him, which Michelle? He replied, the pink Meshel...I'm the pink Meshel...still makes me laugh.
My shoes close up...can you tell the buckle is navy?
I tried, but could not pick up how shiny & gorgeous these shoes are in person...
My nails matched my snack package! An outdoor visit with Kate & Jason! Kate told me that she is going to HUG me for my birthday!!! It's been over a year.
UnderCovered does Aretha Franklin & Glenn Crytzer & the boys performed songs from 1936.
Davina came online briefly to talk about upcoming shows, listening to music on Twitch, & this "suede" leopard bag came in the mail...it's going to be my new gym bag. All leopard. All the time.
