I loved this dress...burgundy & pinky salmon leopard print (cheetah?)...YES. Not only was the print a blast, but the fit was great. My only complaint about it was that it was incredibly thin...I probably should have worn a slip...but our office is dimly lit & I wore it out at night. I will buy it when it hits the shop. I found these shoes several years ago at Savers, but this was my first time wearing them.
The top necklace is a Miriam Haskell (my favorite vintage designer/design house)...it's as long as my other necklace, but I wanted something around my neck...I just flung it over my shoulders here as I didn't have a ribbon to tie it with me. Something about leopard print gets me to bring out my M initial jewelry...I think I'm up to 5 M earrings.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay Perversion eyeliner; UD eyeshadow in Alien, Last Sin, Sonic, & Alchemy; Dubonnet Amplified lipstick by MAC; & OPI nail polish in Visions of Love.
I first wore this dress on a Thursday...to get a luxurious facial from Sara at Anui. I'm getting them every month in the winter...because it feels so soul healing...I climb into the cozy fuzzy heated bed & I feel all my anxiety leaving my body as she pampers & massages my face, head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands...it's lovely. In the last few years, I've talked myself into facials in the winter & buying myself flowers at market all summer into fall. Sure, they're not necessities, but they make me happy.
Also, that same day...a bit of progress in the dining room.
And that night...dinner at Forage Kitchen with my girlie. That place makes awesome salad bowls...we both got the Thai Cashew salad.
Then we attended a play at Forward Theatre, Every Brilliant Thing. The narrator begins his list of every brilliant thing in life when his mom first tries to commit suicide when he's 7. I added one of my favorite things to the list...what are some of yours?
A few nights later, David & I went to Spring Green to see another play from Two Crows Theatre, The How & The Why. Two excellent plays in a row...with fantastic acting...& all from members of APT.
Look...we're cute & we match!
