Effie's Heart has really become one of my favorite brands...as if you couldn't tell. I'm grateful that GB carries it, because they have hardly any plus size garments on their site...I hope they change that. These Carnaby skirts are cute, have just the right amount of fabric to twirl, & are a dream to wear. The wide elastic waist never rolls on me, the length is perfect, & there are pockets. I own this skirt in a scalloped print & hot air balloons. This Parisian print was fun for a wear, but not something I felt the need to own.
I wore this outfit to work & as usual...was trying to throw something on my body in order to leave the house. GB is so great for that...I just wear whatever they send me & don't have to think about it...however, this was a skirt...so I needed to find a top. My go to with these Carnaby skirts has been a sweater...but I wanted some pattern mixing, so I tried this buttoned up cardigan & I kinda love it.
I was going to search for some navy shoes (my closet situation is...nothing has a place & could be anywhere), but these Clarks we picked up at a thrift store in Milwaukee were right there. I fear my outfits will be much less interesting once I have a huge tidy space for everything.
My make-up with this outfit included...NYX Faux Blacks eyeliner in Oxblood; Alter, Supersonic, & Paralyzed eyeshadow from Urban Decay; Sugarpill eyeshadow in Flamepoint; Toast & Apricot lipstick by Bite Beauty; & OPI nail polish in Down to My Last Penny.
In addition to work, I wore this outfit to use my $20 off at Sephora (end of year thank you) & to buy yummy veggies at the farmers' market with Kate.

I only bought two things at Sephora...Anastasia's Prism palette & a limited edition lipstick from Bite. I was so excited to get a Kat von D reward before they ran out...
