Portland Cello Project

I wore this dress to work & to see Portland Cello Project with Kate.  I adore Igigi wrap dresses & loved the colors. This is a true wrap dress, so the sash is adjustable & I was able to tie it just below my bust like I prefer. It's a nice slightly below the knee length on me (I'm 5'7"), which makes it a fabulous work dress. I wore the Neve dress in a different print for my birthday last year & I was amused to see I chose the same necklace. GB let me keep this dress because I had so many issues with them that week. It was a very generous gift.
I'm not really a beer fan, but Blueberry Stout through a straw is quite delicious.
Kate & I saw Portland Cello Project at High Noon...they were paying tribute to Elliott Smith & also did some of their own songs as well as other covers. They were amazing, however, a bar is not the ideal setting to enjoy such lushness & beauty. There was quite a standing room only crowd (Kate & I nabbed 2 of the handful of bar stools they left out) & as I had my eyes closed to take in their gorgeous interpretation of Elliott's music...a drunk guy stepped on my foot...jarring me out of my dream state. The girlie & I both went home with vinyl to enjoy in peace.

If you enjoy cello music &/or Elliott Smith, give your ears & eyes a treat...
I know this earring doesn't quite go with my outfit...but it's another new earring from Teri & I was excited to wear it.

  3. This dress fits and flatters you so beautifully! Bummer that you had issues with GB that week, but they picked a really lovely dress to gift you as a result. I remember lusting after this print in a different style dress last year. I think it was a peplum with a lace skirt overlay. Your evening out at the pub and listening to cello music sounds lovely.

The beer you're drinking is actually from one of our favorite breweries near our old house in Chelsea, MI. It's in Marshall. They have a woodsy tavern out in the boonies, and they make the best gourmet pizzas. Their too cream is a winter seasonal, and it's Kyle's favorite beer ever!
