Muffin in Blue

Dress: Julia Pleated Dress from Kiyonna via Gwynnie Bee (click link to get a free month & help me earn a free garment for a month)
Cardigan: Lane Bryant
Boots: Antique Gold Gripfast
Necklace & Earring: Babil & Bijou
I wore this dress to work a week ago Friday. Look at me wearing blue. And gray. And this ridiculously busy & modern print. Who am I? You can tell I never wear blue because I don't have any accessories to pair with it. These are the *one* blue earrings I own. I liked the pop of red in this necklace because it matched my nails & I carried it through by adding red lips. I guess I have to stop being surprised that I like blue. I now like blue. I also liked this dress. The gathers under the bust were flattering and the neckline was perfect.

  1. I actually really love the blue on you! I actually love seeing all of your GB outfits, because we're the same size and I have decided to closet a few things I wouldn't have otherwise. (Like the Belmont skirt...I have that same burgundy sweater. Honestly, I have like 4 or 5 of those sweaters, and it would be more if the stupid cat hadn't destroyed my FAVORITE, the striped one.)

    1. I have to agree, blue is growing on me! And, yay, thank you for telling me. It's nice to be able to see clothes on people who are closer to your size because it looks so much different than on a smaller model. I have a bunch of those sweaters too. Was your striped one black with blue, green, pink stripes? I have that one!

    2. No, it had pink, green, brown, burgundy, but I know which one you're talking about. They need to bring those sweaters back. The last ones they had were the kind that stretched into giant short square boxes and that's just not cutting it.

  2. Wow...you HAVE to buy this outfit. It looks stunning on you! You are very good at choosing outfits that suits your bodyshape. I love blue, and the cut and pattern of this dress is very flattering! Does it come with the jacket, or is it yours?

    1. Thank you! I don't think I'll buy it, but I'll certainly get it from GB again. The cardigan is mine bought from Lane Bryant this season.
