Pretty chirpy bird dress...fantastic bright colors & a great fit. I love these Leota faux wrap dresses, but I always have to pin them at the neckline...both for modesty & for it to lay nicely. Otherwise, this dress was a fun statement & made me smile. I've been waiting for the right outfit to photograph at this brightly painted restaurant...& this fence has finally met its match.
Throw all the colors of accessories at this dress...
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Deep End; Lemonade, Pineapple, & Donut eyeshadow from Violet Voss; Leafar eyeshadow by Kat von D; NYX Liquid Suede lipstick in Pink Lust; UD lipstick in Big Bang; & A Red-vival City nail polish by OPI. I wore this outfit to see SONTALK at The Shitty Barn, with Erik Koskinen opening...who I've seen before, but didn't realize until he told the same story to introduce a song...oh, right!
The poor singer from SONTALK, Joseph LeMay, had spent some of the day at urgent care because of his voice...it wasn't good, he looked terrible, & he shouldn't have been singing. They played the shortest set ever & at the end all of his bandmates hugged him. I bought the vinyl.
Lilacs...my favorite flowers! They came late this year. I also wore this dress to farmers' market, out to lunch with David, to test drive a Toyota Avalon, & to pick an orange for our new front door.
