I wore this dress to the last day of the film fest. I remember not really liking this dress, but in looking at the photos...it doesn't seem so bad. The black middle panel was too wide, I like that it was textured, but should have just accented the waist. I was also not a fan of all the black lines...I prefer not to have my body sectioned off. The pattern was fantastic! I am in love with the blurry watercolor dotty-ness & all the gorgeous spring colors.
I adore this 40s inspired frock by London Times that Kate is wearing...sooooo cute, & also dotty!
For our last film of the festival, Waiting for August, Super Boo & I picked a documentary about a family of children in Romania who are left alone all year while their mother works as a servant in Italy. They only see her in August when she comes home to visit. It should have been depressing, but it was mostly just boring.
After our final movie of the film fest (& before Kate & Daniel's), we had dinner at Cafe Porta Alba. Delicious!

My favorite quote from our days at the film fest this year was not on this day, but a few days prior...but I just remembered it. We were talking about something French (a movie?) & Super Boo said to Kate: "Parts of you are very French." and she shot back, "Are you talking about my armpits?"
While Super Boo saw a client at our office, I drove over to Sephora to take advantage of their sale. I just stocked up on basics, plus got some liquid liner that I later returned because it wasn't waterproof. So sad because that purple was a brilliant color.
I loved the way this yellow bubble necklace made by the fabulous Wendy Baker picked up the bits of yellow in the bubbles of the dress...it was my favorite part of the dress.
