Gibson Brothers

Dress: Pleated Maxi Dress by Let Me Be (size 1x) via Nuuly
Shoes: Fluevog, Bellevues: Pearl Hart
Tights: Snag
All Jewelry: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 41-39-53
The color of this dress...stunning...something was off though & it's not anything I can explain...it added 30-40 pounds & I'm not sure why. The fit was great. Sexy plunging neckline, matching belt, balloon sleeves, flowy fabric, fun pattern, & pleating details...it was all marvelous. Just the right maxi dress length for me...I could have worn flats or these 3 inch heels.
This is my first time wearing these Fluevogs that I found on Fluemarket...I've been searching for this colorway...the shiny mustard is marvelous & I have several shoes in the Bellevue family, which is a favorite of mine...I adore those curvy heels.
I look beautiful in orange, my favorite color.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Torch & Lucky; Carnelian, Phlox, Awakening, & Agate eyeshadow by Natasha Denona; NYX lipliner in Pumpkin; UD lipstick in Heat; New York Apple lipstick from MAC; & OPI nail polish in Paint the Tinseltown Red.
Close up of my Fluevogs & sparkly orange tights from Snag.
After getting dolled up for these photos & a concert later, I made us dinner...Roasted Salmon with with Miso Cauliflower & Ginger-Scallion Vinaigrette (delicious)...with broccoli that was good, but not enough to make again. Then I was off to Stoughton to see the Gibson Brothers. Fabulous...all the strings & no drums.
It was raining/sleeting...don't I look pretty? The next day...David & I decided to tackle organizing our cupboards a bit better...
Then I took a break to watch/listen to Carsie...who got a new PUPPY!
I made us another yummy dinner...& we decided to eat in our dining room...then retire to the living room where we were still contemplating our latest rug.
More organization! Vinyl I bought at the show...if an artist I see live has any vinyl for sale, I buy it.

My Girls Tattoo, Finished

Dress: Floral Midi Dress by Let Me Be (size XL) via Nuuly
Boots: Fluevog, Enneagram: Spontaneous
Necklace: Wendy Baker
Bracelet: Old Costume Jewelry, Nashville Flea Market
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 43-41-57
Gorgeous dress with unusual color combination, which I always adore...just the right amount of dark mixed with bright. Great fit & length. I especially enjoyed the billowy sleeves, the deep v-neckline in both the front & back, as well as the black outlines around the bust & waist.
I chose to go with all purple make-up & accessories, but I could have just as easily picked up that lovely shade of dark red...or gone with a mix of colors.
I loved this outfit with my Fluevog boots...& it was my first time wearing this earring David got me & this stunning Wendy Baker floral necklace.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Rockstar; UD eyeshadow in Cyber Punk, Purple Dust, Warning, & Dazed; Big Bang lipliner from UD; MAC lipliner in Grape; Mad lipstick by UD; & OPI nail polish in Samurai Breaks a Nail.
I wore this outfit to Giige to have Bear finish my girls tattoo. I liked the 'Fake No Orgasms' sticker on their notebook...I don't believe I ever have, but I also have a terrible memory.
Stunning...I can't even believe I have such amazing art on my body...
Peek-a-boo boots...so much more interesting to see my tights beneath the lacing. Selfie for my boyfriend.
Pretty vintage bottles I got to store stuff (nail polish remover) in for my office. A lotion bottle I intended for my bedside table...but I think I will keep it in the wreck room. New sparkly jewelry from Gayle at Green Goddess Vintage...& look how sweet she is...I only ordered the necklace & she sent me matching earrings, as well as those massive, oh-so-me, black earrings!
Chie Mihara polka dot shoes from Poshmark. A delicious dinner I made, Pork Chops with Jammy-Mustard Glaze, served with Roasted Cauliflower with Pistachio Pesto (both NYT recipes). And my adorable boyfriend smoking a pipe...soooo hot.

French Market.

Dress: Burnout Velvet Cut Out Maxi Dress by Let Me Be (size 1x) via Nuuly
Cardigan:?, thrifted
Tights: Snag
Shoes: Anne Klein, thrifted
Earring: etXarte
Necklace: Confectionique French Market
Bracelets: Vintage

I was in LOVE with this luscious dress. First of all, the colors...I don't wear brown nearly enough...but then again...how many interesting brown dresses are there? This was the perfect warm copper color & went marvelously with my hair. I loved the skin baring waist cutouts...even if they did show off my loose skin...I felt sexy. And they were easily covered up for work with a conservative cardigan. The fit was spot on, great length...even the things I didn't like...the wooden circles holding the fabric together (at the waist & neckline)...they seemed too casual for the dress...& the extra poofy sleeves...just didn't bother me. And check out those majestic birds.
The only thing I would change about this outfit I put together was...it could have used some leopard heels instead of nearly flats.
I've had this lace & bead lariat for years...& this is my first time wearing it. I think the ideal dress finally came along.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Roach; HBIC, Sting, & Amber eyeshadow from UD; NYX lipliner in Nutmeg; Heatherberry lipliner by bodyography; Bronze Shimmer & Fresh Moroccan lipstick from MAC; & OPI nail polish in OPI With A Nice Finn-ish & Brisbane Bronze.
Continuing to unpack boxes & coming across treasures...like this Hole ticket from the early 90s & my paternal grandmother's colorized wedding photo. And...I keep waiting until I redo my vanity to put my make-up in pretty containers...but I decided to just do it already. Finally using all those garage sale finds I've been collecting.
Me taking selfies to send to my boyfriend...at work...& at home on the couch. This search cracked me up...but now I can't recall what I couldn't find...but it wasn't...can't find a better man...I've already got two of those.
In addition to wearing this outfit to work...I also ran some errands. This gorgeous dress deserved an occasion...I guess I'll have to rent it again. I attended the Confectionique monthly French market, which I used to go to most of, but haven't been since the end of 2019. They've moved closer to my house...& it was nice to be back. I'm sure this mirror isn't for sale, but I adored it...more so because there are some bits missing.
Door knob? A vase full of buttons...& other things that caught my eye.
My monthly Boxy Charm box...& some things I picked up at the beauty supply. I couldn't decide which color I liked more with this outfit...so I used both.

Bra Shopping

Dress: Babydoll Boho Mini Dress by Let Me Be (size 1x) via Nuuly
Tights: Snag
Shoes: Franco Sarto, thrifted
Earring: Wendy Baker
Necklace: former Etsy shop, gift from Kate
Bracelet: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 43-41-57
Gorgeous colors in this short dress that kept falling off of me. It was SO big...but pretty. I'd consider trying it again & sizing down. Perhaps next fall.
How stunning does this outfit look against all the dead leaves on the vines?!
I couldn't resist adding leopard shoes...it goes with the color palette.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Alkaline; UD eyeshadow in Young Love, Lumbre, & Dirty Talk (wrong palette pictured); Burgundy lipliner by MAC; MAC lipstick in Dubonnet Amplified; & Sunrise & The City nail polish from Morgan Taylor.
Kate backed Them Coulee Boys Kickstarter for me to get the band to play anywhere I wanted...which is of course, Lake Superior. All the other swag came in the mail, including a signed vinyl.
And handwritten lyrics to the song of my choice...I Won't Be Defined. This hat is totally me, right?
I keep shrinking out of my expensive bras, so I decided to check out the offerings at Target. Why didn't anyone tell me I could get bras for under $20?! And they're cute. I typically pay $60+. I'm at a 36/38 C currently...which kind of blows my mind. When I was tiny in high school, I was a 34B. I fully intend on getting these babies lifted up & filled out...hopefully this year. I miss my boobs.
My goal in life is to have nothing utilitarian...everything in my life must be beautiful. David found these solid copper 100+ year old colanders & also an Italian Ruffoni pan (with an artichoke top). I made this Gingery Chicken Stew for dinner & David declared it was the best thing I ever made...which is high praise considering how delicious my food usually is.
