I wore this autumnized summer dress to our small east side farmers' market & to host girlie crafty night at our house. This square necked Lands End dress would have been a great summer dress, unfortunately, it came to me at the end of its life, a bit faded & pilled...but it was still good for a wear on a casual day spent mostly at home. I loved accessorizing with the various shades of green in the pattern & at the end of October, I was still clinging to my sandals.
Pinterest strikes again! I thought these maple leaf flowers were just gorgeous & the perfect fall crafty activity. Super Boo brought me home a bouquet of leaves & everyone abandoned their projects to create flowers with me. e's were the best & she generously left hers behind to mingle in a vase with my much sadder attempts. Pick an autumn hued maple leaf off a tree some time & smell it...it smells sweetly floral.
I plastered my eyes with all the colors in the dress...blue liner with pink & chartreuse shadows.
Pilled, but still pretty.
