I wore this colorful outfit to eat fish fry with Super Boo, Angie, & Toby. I like the new house brand fit & flares much better than the original releases. I still think the waist on these is in an odd place between empire & natural...I wish it were higher. This is the kind of print I only want to wear once, but what fun! The shape of this dress was flattering, if a bit short...but teggings always solve that problem for me. These are the summer length teggings.
I love Friday Night Fish Fry! It's a midwestern thing, so if you're not from the area...you are missing out. This is the first time we attended one at a church & let me tell you...these people know how to throw a fish fry. You buy tickets upstairs...$11.50, all you can eat. Then you wait in line to be seated in the basement...along the way there are 2 beverage stations...beer for $2, soda a buck.
The seating is family style...10 to a table.
There was fish, of course; baked potato; french fries; cole slaw; bread; beans; milk; coffee; & cake. Did I mention it is all you can eat?!
We all agreed that this was our favorite fish fry EVER. We can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, they only do it once a month until Lent.
It addition to delicious fish fry, the church was 150 years old & gorgeous.
I adore this OPI polish, Green on the Runway...which changes from green to purple.
