I wore this outfit to go out to breakfast & shop with Angie and to pick Kate up from a day of hiking...then the next day to work & erranding. Igigi makes such lovely dresses...the only way they could be more perfect is if I were as well endowed as they expect me to be. This faux wrap has a deep surplice neckline & is unlined...perfect for year round wear & so many lovely colors to pull out with accessories...but of course I started with orange. I plan my outfits in my head & the dress I was going to wear didn't work out at all...despite having worn this style in other prints, this one had shrunk 2 sizes by the time it came to me & I hadn't bothered trying it on before throwing it on to run out the door. So disappointing...however, this Igigi is the exact same fabric & I had bought it during a GB sale a few weeks previously & had not worn it yet. I'm linking the above photo on Visible Monday over at Not Dead Yet Style. I was so excited for breakfast that I didn't take a photo...blueberry pancakes & hash browns with cheddar cheese. Also, I discovered that the day of a sports ball game is the PERFECT time to go anywhere...I was expecting a wait of 30-40 minutes on a Sunday morning...but the place was nearly empty! Angie & I had to take advantage of Sephora's 20% off sale one more time...although she was much better in her restraint than I was. So many pretty colors! After Sephora we browsed St. Vinney's, but there was nothing there I needed except for glass Christmas bulbs to finish the wreath I started last year that is still living in Angie's basement.
I ran into Lush the next day to grab my favorite face cleanser, Bûche de Noël, which is seasonal...& turn in 5 empty pots to get this Cranberry face mask for free...both of them smell sooooo good! There was this adorable fat chick shopping there who told me my outfit was sassy...I need to get some Moo mini cards printed up with my blog address so I can give them to women who compliment me.
This is what I acquired during Sephora's 20% off sale...some of this (Kat Von D palette & the Jem palette) came in the mail a few weeks back...on this trip I picked up another Anastasia brow pencil, Bite Beauty's annual lip box, foundation, an orange Kat Von D eyeliner, & a Bite Beauty lipstick in Mimosa (an orangey red). I don't need any more make-up EVER.
My make-up with this outfit included...Stila eyeliner in Deep Burgundy; Kat Von D eyeshadow in Rewind, Harpsichord, & Analogue; Nars lipstick in Golshan, & OPI nail polish in DS Indulgence.
