I wore these 2 skirts to work with the same sweater a few weeks apart. The heavy fabric is great for winter & both skirts have a raised pattern, so even though they are a solid color...there's a bit of fun going on up close. I bought the burgundy skirt because it was only $15 & I have a lot of tops I can wear with it. The waistband on these is awkward...thick & gets easily twisted, which adds bulk...they are also a bit long. I guess the thing is...I didn't feel pretty in these skirts, they felt dowdy on & had I spent the day wearing it, I probably wouldn't have bought it even for as cheap as it was. It's not the skirts fault...I just need pretty patterns. As always with Lucie Lu, I size up one since they run small. I like the way the wind caught the skirt & belled out the bottom...if only it lay that way on its own.
Vintage floral sofa pattern on the burgundy skirt...
Basket weave pattern on the plum skirt...
Both skirts are great colors, and I love the neckline on the sweater!
