Dress: Floral Crepe Flounce Hem Dress by Taylor Dresses (size 24) via Gwynnie Bee (use my link to get your first month free & help me earn GB credit)
Cardigan: North Crest (size 2x), thrifted
Tights: We Love Colors in Royal?
Boots: Dr. Martens
Earring: Wendy Baker
Necklace: A Luscious Thing
Bracelets: Vintage
Photography: Super Boo & Me
Stats: 5'7" 55-50-64
I nearly didn't wear this dress because it was tighter than I wanted it to be...but I decided to give it a go for a few hours at work. The bright colors popping out from the black were welcome during this cold long winter. This dress fit like a size 24 (which it was), but Taylor Dresses are typically more generously cut & are just right for my size 26/28 body...this one was not.
Despite the dress being too tight for me, I really enjoyed the outfit I put together...especially wearing these red Docs for the first time. I bought them years ago, new off eBay...then they got lost in the old house. But...I finally cut the tags off & took them out. Shiny.
I wore this dress to work & for photos at the library (because, cold!)...then I went home & mailed it back to Gwynnie Bee.
My make-up with this outfit included...Urban Decay eyeliner in Abyss; Too Faced eyeshadow in Creme Brûlée, Champagne Truffle, & Marzipan; The red eyeshadow in the Huda Beauty Electric Obsessions palette; Perfect Red lipstick by NYX; & You Make Me Vroom nail polish from OPI.

  1. How was the break-in on these? I bought the flip-sequin ones, have worn them once, was forced into Crocs for a week because the blister popped when I was taking them off, and now I want to wear them but I fear the consequences. Most of my other Docs haven't been too awful....

Love it when the tights are just right for the dress :)

I've never had a problem breaking in Docs, so it was all good for me! I'm nearly the only one though. Good luck!

  3. The fit and flare dress collection from fithubfashion looks absolutely stunning and perfect for both casual and party wear. I also love how the brand offers trendy stylish tops for women that can be paired easily with jeans or skirts. Their Formal Shirts for Women are great for office looks too. Definitely a great place for fashionable outfits!
