When a maxi is truly a maxi...the perfect length for me...that hardly ever happens. When I spied this for sale on Fabfatshion...it had to be mine. The pattern & colors of this dress are fabulous...it was begging to be worn for a day out on a yacht with an enormous sun hat...perhaps because it reminded me of a flag for an exotic country. But as I don't know anyone with a yacht, it adorned my body for my weekend adventures around Madison. Melissa Masse is another designer that makes her clothing in a wide range of sizes...from S through 3x. I discovered her thanks to GB, although they no longer carry anything by her. Melissa seems like a lovely lady as well...one of The Girls of GB contacted her & told her how much we all LOVED her magic dresses...& she offered to make them for us in any fabric she currently carried for a great price. How sweet is that???David & I marketed together & gathered all the herbs we wanted to plant in our herb garden...& some flowers too. He couldn't find his hat, so he wore mine & looked rather fetching in it. Then...Indian buffet & loading up on my addiction...Klarbrunn...on sale 2/$5! We got 32 on this day...& I had gotten a dozen boxes on my own a few days before...must not run out of fizzy water!
Sephora Play! I continue to be smitten with this monthly box.
Sunday brunch at Angie's...I fresh squeezed some oranges. Angie made waffles with herbs, which she used as the base for her eggs Benedict, but I was dubious & kept mine separate at first...O!M!G! it was the best thing ever! I wore this dress to brunch, but didn't bother with make-up on this day.
Kate (the other Kate) did a practice bridal up-do on Angie...Val helped. I love her.
My make-up with this outfit included...NYX eyeliner in Deep Blue, Kat von D eyeshadow in Analogue & Legend, Blood Orange lipstick by Bite Beauty, NYX lipstick in Hippy Chic, & OPI nail polish in Toucan Do It If You Try.
