I wore this lace dress to go out to eat & see some bands. It was adorable & reminded me of the babydoll dresses of the 90s. It seemed sexy, yet romantic. It came to me with a few small holes in the sleeve, but that seems inevitable with lace. The surplice neckline needed the pin to hold it closed. This was another great LBD, completely darling. The blush lining made it a perfect pairing for Urban Decay's Naked 3 eyeshadow palette. Kate, Angie, & I saw 2 bands...& a bit of one that was finishing up. The venue was fantastic, The Playhouse at Overture, which Forward Theatre uses for their plays...fabulous sound & comfortable. We were mainly there to see Seasaw, which I discovered because the bartender at High Noon was playing them before a show & I liked it so much that I had to ask her who it was. They are a folk/pop girlie duo. We stayed for Oh, My Love! because they are another local band we like...but honestly, they have never sounded better than when Kate & I discovered them playing at farmers' market.
The Bubble Music Festival was a 3 day event that took place all over Madison & I'll definitely keep an eye out for it next year. It seems like a wonderful way to discover new bands.
Before music, Angie & I had dinner at Vientiane Palace, delicious! And after music, the 3 of us went for Pelmeni, yum!
I don't wear this earring often because it is too long to wear with necklaces, but is a perfect pairing with a pin.
I've just discovered your blog and why did I never realize people like me (full-figured) could have a fashion blog too. Thanks for inspiring me and keep up the good work.
