I wore this dress 2 different ways on the same day to attend a fairy garden workshop, run errands, & not see a band. I've worn several of these Kiyonna Whimsy Dresses here & I just love the fit of them. They are flattering & that flirty flouncy bit is adorable & adds a nice decorative touch that makes it stand out from other solid color wrap dresses. I own this dress in black with white polka dots, but I'd get it in every color if I could. I love it that much.
I wore this dress during the day with the orange cardigan & sandals to go to my very last free class at Absolutely Art. After 9 years, they are sadly closing at the end of this month. I was excited to attend this fairy garden workshop because these things have fascinated me for years. I would love to create a fairy garden this summer in one of my old school desks. I need to make a list of things I'd like to do this summer before summer gets away from me. I like lists.
I adore this window frame that hangs in the backyard at Absolutely Art. I have dozens of old windows that I'd like to do fun things to. I've made them into photo frames, but I think our patio needs some art.
I got this little spark plug bird guy while I was at the shop for the class. Isn't he cute? We named him, but I can't remember what it was now. We actually made a video right after taking this picture because we named the bird, pig, & gnome...& we knew we'd forget...so, video.
The Canon takes such beautiful head shots.
I changed into the black cardigan later in the day to run some errands because I was going to check out an outdoor concert on the lake, Timber Timbre, & it was too cold for bare legs. I parked & walked for blocks...only to find the concert had been cancelled. Very sad. But I got a nice stroll in through the beautiful UW campus.

  1. I love your whimsical little tablescape with the gnome garden. So adorable! I also really like seeing how you've paired navy. The navy and black looks really chic and dramatic, and the navy and mustard-orange looks really vibrant and rich.

    1. Thanks, that is sweet of you to say. I liked the way both of these outfits worked...as much as I like prints, sometimes it's fun to just play with pairing solid colors.

  2. Yes, your garden is pretty darn cool. I love the pig and knome. I've been fairy gardening for a while and I have never seen one with a pig like that lol. Anyways, check some of my out if you want. http://www.fairyinagarden.com/
