I adore wrap dresses, but this is my first with a cutout neckline. I liked the look, but felt it was too loose across my chest when sitting down. I am only a C cup, so I don't have the flesh up top needed to stretch this bit of fabric. Otherwise, I was in love with this dress and plan on wearing it to work tomorrow before sending it back.
I wore this fabulous dress to have dinner for the first time at Heritage Tavern with Kate & Super Boo last Wednesday evening. I feel so spoiled. I had 2 of the best meals of my life in one week! The 3 of us decided to split a bunch of things and most were delightfully delicious. I started off with this scrumptious drink, the Paramore (modeled here by the lovely Kate), which was made with Luxardo Bitter, St. Germain, Deaths Door Gin, & lemon.
Although many of the things we ate were divine, these deviled eggs stole the show & I can't even tell you anything about them except there were 3 different kinds and if you order a dozen, that includes some truffled eggs as well...I have been craving more of these since taking the last bite.Edited to add- A horrible selfie of me in the work bathroom of how I wore this dress to work on Monday. Same kind of socks from Sock Dreams, but in oranges instead of reds and a harvest orange cardigan from Avenue.
Oh my goodness, those eggs look fabulous. As do you! But the EGGS. God, I'm hungry now.
ReplyDeleteI am so craving those amazing deviled eggs! I love the striking black wrap dress with its intriguing neckline, and all your warmly gleaming vintage jewelry choices. You have an eye, my dear.
